A Slice of Us

Here we are. The Mad Sicilian family. Let me take a moment for introductions. I am a very proud mother of four and a very lucky woman to be married to such a wonderful man. In the front, from left to right is...

• Kaitlyn, the eldest.

A Chico State Alumni, has a with a B.A.in Finance. Currently, she lives in Oakland to be near her taekwondo school, Element ATA Martial Arts. 

• Eleni, the second eldest. A graduate of Chico State with a degree in Psychology. She currently lives in Sacramento working toward her real estate license.

• Kaitlyn, the eldest. A graduate of Chico State with a major in Business Finance. Currently, she lives in Oakland to be near her taekwondo school, Element ATA Martial Arts. 

• Victoria, our third eldest.

• A Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo Alumni with a BA in Enology. So... look out wine country, a new winemaker is on the horizon.

• Theo, the youngest. A junior at Southern New Hampshire University majoring in History. Currently, he works full time at Koenig Drilling while finishing his degree.

In the back is my amazing hubby, George. The extremely talented chef and mastermind of, well, most of the recipes we serve at The Mad Sicilian. He is a culinary graduate from Athens, Greece and has studied throughout Europe to master many styles of cuisine. Anyone that has been lucky enough to feast on his cooking understands just how talented he is in the kitchen.

Last but not least, my name is Mary Kolybakos, aka, The Mad Sicilian. I moved to California when I was, well, a lot younger. I came to work with my uncle, Mick Lumetta, at Optical World in the Santa Rosa Plaza, where he taught me everything I know about being an optician. Today, I am still employed as an optician at Empire Optometry in Santa Rosa.

Needless to say, George and I are extremely proud of our children and the young adults they have become. We are excited to see what the future will bring.
